The 24H car race of Dubaï will take place every January.
The entry list will be finalised at the end of September. Every year about 90 teams are successfully registered and there are also more than 25 teams on a waiting list.
Among the lucky teams that have made it onto the official participants list is also the Luxembourgish team DUWO.
To date, this private team counts more than 40 participations in races such as “24hr Nürburgring”, “24hr Spa-Francorchamps” and “12hr Spa-Francorchamps”.
The edition of the “24hr Dubai” is set up to become the most popular and international 24hr car race in the world.
Teams and drivers will be participating from over more than 30 different countries, which is unique for this type of race.
DUWO is the first team to be representing Luxembourg in Dubaï.

For many weeks, the Luxembourgish team has been busy organising the logistics and raising funds for this exciting event.
The racing car and all equipment will be shipped from a European port end of the year.
The drivers, mechanical engineers, managers and others – in total a team of more than 20 – will be flying out to Dubaï on January and will be returning to Luxembourg some days after the race.

The drivers will be pushed to their limits on the tough 5.39 km long track of Dubaï. The racing track is technically one of the most modern and advanced in the world. They fully satisfy the requirements of a Formula 1 racing track, including 36 spacious and modern boxes.

In January the temperature in Dubai is ideal for a 24hr race, ranging between 20 to 25 degrees.
